A M R C Sheffield
The internationally acclaimed University of Sheffield Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) with Boeing, is a £60 million collaboration between world-leaders in the aerospace supply chain, key government offices and international academic institutions.
This world-class facility is dedicated to developing the new, technology-driven solutions for materials-forming, metal-working, and castings that help ensure UK manufacturing remains competitive in the world.
We completed this installation in partnership with EIWHS who also installed the mechanical package. The building had several energy saving measures including wind turbines on the site along with energy efficient lighting and power installations.
Bowmer and Kirkland were the main contractor on this project.
